- Both my wife Julie and I share this common interest in cycle touring. We love God's creation, the adventure of travel, and meeting the many challenges and opportunities that come our way. To us, life itself is an adventure. We love enjoying God's creation that is so accessible on a bike. Our adult kids think we are a little 'crazy', when we tell them we are off on another epic journey with a bike and a tent. Travel makes us rich - actually it is all part of life's pilgrimage and through it our faith in God who made it all so much deeper. Enjoy our journeys with us.

PS- Maybe you might consider one of those bikes with a motor for the next trip - that way you can cruise the hills, and pedal the flats!!!! I saw a little man riding one of these on the M7 - seemed much easier! :)
Hi Richard and Louise - it was great to meet you yesterday. The visit to Wells was exceptional. We enjoyed the stroll through the Bishop's Palace grounds. Thanks for the email. Michelle - Julie and I have chatted about having a motor on the bike for all the hills. But it just wouldn't be the same, would it. And you'd need batteries, a charger....too much trouble. At least our way we lose weight (I have lost 6-8kg! Julie looks very trim too - and hey, we'd have less to tak about. Thanks for your advice though. Stya in touch. K
